A heavily patterned glass, screw top vessel showcases a grassy top with two horses convening around a quartz crystal. This reclaimed container can be easily opened by pushing down and turning the screw top lid. The glass interior is perfect for storing small objects and would be great for solid perfume, or a lip balm. The work is signed and dated on the interior of the lid.

KUSAMA COLLECTION
Inspired by the pattern work of Yayoi Kusama, a Japanese contemporary artist who is well known for their avant-garde sculpture, paintings, and installation art, this collection explores the meditative quality that can be found in repetition. The repetition found in her pattern work suggests infinity, using art as a coping mechanism for a lack of control over her own life, either consciously or subconsciously wanting to control how others perceive time and space while experiencing her work. During these trying times I have found an escape through this accumulation of dots.
